William Jones, Senior Director of Advancement and Planning

William Jones serves as the Senior Director of Advancement and Planning at Life After Justice. William is passionate about securing justice and support for the wrongfully accused. He has a track record of strengthening the fundraising, marketing and communications, strategic planning, and financial outcomes of nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Life After Justice, William served as the President of Bethany College and Georgetown College. At both institutions, Mr. Jones increased enrollment and fundraising outcomes, while enhancing their academic missions and finances. He also served as Vice President for Advancement at LaGrange College and Goshen College and as the National Coordinator and Managing Director of Call to Renewal. 

Mr. Jones graduated from Berea College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He later worked in the Development Office at Berea during a record-breaking fundraising campaign. His passion for fundraising led him to earn a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. He is ABD in the International Conflict Management PhD Program at Kennesaw State University.

William and his wife, Amy, live in the Columbus, Ohio, area, have six children, two dogs, and are active in their local church and community.
