Invest in Programs That
Change Lives — and Systems.
Transforming lives and systems requires sustained, strategic investment. Leadership-level support allows Life After Justice to deepen impact, scale proven initiatives, and drive national reform grounded in lived experience and evidence.
Holistic Mental Health & Wellness
Trauma-informed mental health care designed specifically for people harmed by wrongful incarceration and their families. This program integrates emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational healing to support long-term stability after release.
Your investment helps:
- Expand access to survivor-centered care
- Train providers in trauma-informed practice
- Evaluate outcomes to build a scalable national model
Amplifying Impacted Voices Nationwide
The National Campaign to Amplify the Voices of America's Wrongfully Convicted and Their Loved Ones — a first-of-its-kind survivor-led survey and storytelling initiative documenting the long-term impacts of wrongful incarceration.
Your investment supports:
- National data collection and analysis
- Survivor-led research dissemination
- Advocacy, policy, and reform efforts rooted in evidence
Preventing Future Wrongful Convictions
The National Incentivized Informants Research Project examines incentivized testimony as a systemic driver of wrongful convictions through large-scale data analysis and interdisciplinary research. Expanding beyond the field's traditional focus on jailhouse informants, this project is among the first to analyze the full spectrum of incentivized witnesses and the patterns that allow their use to persist.
Your investment enables:
- Deeper case-level research
- Identification of risk factors and patterns
- Policy engagement to address one of the leading causes of wrongful convictions
Scaling Strategic Litigation
High-impact legal representation that secures freedom for individuals while setting precedent to prevent future wrongful convictions — and continues beyond release to address the legal barriers that follow.
Your investment sustains:
- Complex, precedent-setting litigation
- Expanded legal capacity
- Post-release legal advocacy — restoring rights, benefits, and stability (including access to benefits such as military service benefits)
- Accountability and long-term systems change
The Founders' Circle
The Founders' Circle is a community of partners who choose to build alongside Life After Justice — bringing both their head and their heart to the work.
This is not just about giving. It is about showing up — with your insight, your network, and your resources — to support impacted leadership and help shape a future where freedom, healing, and prevention are fully realized.
Through flexible, high-impact support, Founders' Circle members strengthen our ability to grow, respond, and lead. As engaged partners, they serve as thought collaborators, connectors, and advocates — helping carry this work forward in ways that extend far beyond funding alone.
