After more than 20 years of wrongful incarceration, Terence Richardson and Ferrone Claiborne are finally home. And we took the time to celebrate!
Born and raised in Virginia, their freedom is a homecoming in every sense — a return to the people and the community who never stopped believing in them.
This event featured a soulful, catered brunch from the legendary Croaker’s Spot, an open mimosa bar sponsored by Cocktail Lane Bartending, and a beautifully curated atmosphere inside Copper Hall — a stunning, Black-owned venue in the heart of Richmond. All three partners are proud, locally owned businesses committed to pouring love, flavor, and community spirit into this moment.
We celebrate Terence and Ferrone — two men who overcame decades of wrongful incarceration — and honor the family, friends, and advocates who have stood by them throughout their journeys.
A portion of the proceeds from this event went directly to support Terence Richardson and Ferrone Claiborne as they rebuild their lives in freedom after wrongful incarceration.
